Class Duration: 1 Hour
Class Length: 10 Weeks

The Rookie class is our entry-level class for ages 6-7. Classes are limited to 6 children each for exceptional player-to-coach interaction.
This class will build basic basketball skills including but not limited to:
Shooting and dribbling form
Bounce pass, chest pass, and overhead pass
Defensive position and defensive footwork
Essential game strategy including terms and basic strategy
This class, like all of our classes, will also integrate biblical teachings and discipleship as we train for basketball. This class covers the basics of the Bible to set a good foundation for the kids. This class will cover the following areas of Christian Scripture:
Memorizing 2 Corinthians 5:17 and John 3:16
Old Testament—Creation/Fall, Abraham, Moses, and David
New Testament—Jesus’ birth, Jesus’ miracles, and Jesus’ resurrection

Elite Sports Ministry is a 501c3 that seeks to use sports as a means to discipleship. We take the proceeds from our skill development classes to fund mission trips to Alaska and Montana where we host basketball camps. In our classes, your child will learn basketball skills, learn the Bible, AND your class fees go 100% to missions!
